I actually walk into my closet with the item in mind and go item by item, “will it go with this,” “will it work with that?” Sometimes things seem NEEDED…but when you actually go through your closet you may find it’s only going to go with two things…and then with that information, you can decide if it’s worth the cost/closet space/maintenance time and effort. And that’s something I try to always do before purchasing. What I use it for most is as a holding place for All the Things I Want…so I can compare them ( at one point I had like six different oatmeal cashmere hoodies saved)…or give myself Time to Think It Over before purchasing. Items I thought were lost to me forever…a day/week/month later I get an email saying THE SPARKLE UNICORN IS BACK IN STOCK with a link to the item and off I go to collect my magical purchase. I can tell Shoptagr to let me know if it comes back in stock. OR I might come across The Clothing Item of My Dreams, but…it’s sold out. I also get emails saying an item I’ve saved is low in stock, so I need to make up my mind if I want it or not before it’s all sold out. And Shoptagr can tell me if/when that happens so I don’t have to keep checking back (A+WoT=B). BUT if they were marked down to $2, I might just have to have them. I don’t WANT to spend $3,478 for a pair of designer socks. I can either just straight-up save it or I can tell Shoptagr to notify me when the item goes on sale. So, when I see something I’m even remotely interested in, I save it to Shoptagr. DAMMIT!!! “Google, find me the lilac v-neck sweater!” and Google shows me 957 OTHER lilac v-neck sweaters but not THAT ONE. But one day I might go, “ooh, I’m ready to pull the trigger on that lilac v-neck sweater I saw a few weeks ago…now where did I see that?” Chaotic internet search ensues. Yes, many online stores have “wishlists,” and I usually use those, too, just cuz. One-click tells it to save an item to your feed, so everything you’re interested in is saved in one place until a) you’re ready to buy them, b) they go on sale, c) they come back in stock. Shoptagr is a “shopping assistant.” It’s an extension you save to your computer and a little thingy sits politely on your toolbar til you need it. Once you’ve hit at least $10, you are then able to cash out through PayPal.I have written about Shoptagr before, briefly, but so many people ask about it that I wanted to do a more in-depth post. Cash you recieve back is placed in your Shoptagr wallet on your account. Shoptagr honestly makes shopping a breeze and I love using it!Īnother way that you can save money with Shoptagr is by getting cash back from purchases. Before Shoptagr, I had to go to deals websites, find coupon codes, and apply each one manually at checkout. I can’t tell you how much time this has saved me. One of my favorite features about Shoptagr is that it applies coupons for me automatically at checkout. I’ve since purchased makeup, clothing, and more for great prices! I was able to get a really great diaper bag on sale a few years ago because I had notifications on and I was able to follow the price changes. You can receive notifications by email or push notifications. On Shoptagr, you can get notified in real-time when items you want are low in stock, back in stock, or on sale. Use my link to download Shoptagr! Never Miss Sales/Deals You can use Shoptagr online with their Safari, Chrome, and Firefox browser buttons, but they also have an iPhone app too. They have over 9,000+ stores to choose from. I can go to my saved items, click the ones I want to purchase, and Shoptagr will bring me to the product pages on the websites I saved them from. I love that I don’t have to search through 15 different bookmarks. One of the features that I think is so great about Shoptagr is that I can save products and get notifications about them! Shoptagr will organize everything in one place so that I can come back to them whenever I need to.
